Nato Tskhakaya, Partner and Head of Regulatory Practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin and Partners law firm (RGD) was interviewed at the Antitrust Forum - a keynote event in Moscow, providing a platform for discussing competition matters in the Russian market.
“The sale of assets by foreigners is still on the agenda in Russia, as deals continue to get done. Some legal terms have recently moved from antitrust laws to counter-sanctions regulations, and in this regard, it is especially interesting to draw parallels and comparisons. In many aspects, the crisis point has passed: lawyers have been able to adapt, including thanks to regulators, who promptly responded to sanctions pressure” – said Nato in her interview.
She also noted that the Antitrust Forum has always been and remains a platform that provides an opportunity to meet both regulators and colleagues.
The forum has been held since 2009 by the Association of Antitrust Experts (AAE). In addition to senior officials from the Federal Antimonopoly Service, it has brought together key expert practitioners, representatives of competition authorities from other countries, and leaders from large companies.
