Yuri is recognized for Dispute Resolution in Russia by international rankings Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 EMEA describing him as a “rising star in the Russian market”, “a diligent, fierce litigator who is absolutely fantastic in court”.

For over 15 years Yuri has been focusing on commercial, real estate, construction and corporate disputes, bankruptcy, debt recovery and administrative disputes.

Prior to joining RGP Yuri worked at the leading Russian and international law firms. During the last ten years Yuri was working at Dechert where he supervised all of the Russian dispute resolution work of its Moscow office for the last 3 years. Yuri also used to work at Salans (now – Dentons) and Noerr.

With Yuri joining RGP the number of lawyers only of its burgeoning dispute resolution practice will make as many as 16 people.

Yuri was named one of top ten young arbitration practitioners by the Russian Arbitration Association in 2015-2017. Yuri is on the panel of recommended arbitrators of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (ICAC), the Russian Arbitration Center at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration (RIMA) and the Russian Arbitration Association; he is a member of the Russian national committee of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR and a committee member of Moscow Commercial Litigators’ Forum.

Yuri graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University named after M. Torez, Faculty of law, Specialist degree in law (magna cum laude). A native Russian speaker, he is fluent in English.
