Nato Tskhakaya has been selected as a member of the Association of Antitrust Experts
Nato Tskhakaya, a counsel and the head of RGP’s Antitrust & Competition practice, has become a member of the Association of Antitrust Experts (AAE), a prestigious professional body created in 2007 that brings together the leading lawyers, economists and lecturers focusing on the Russian antitrust laws and competition issues.

AAE is a professional public platform created for liaising with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS of Russia) and other government agencies in order to reach a consensus on the issues of developing competition and improving the antitrust and competition laws and practices. Over the period of its existence, the Association has proved itself to the FAS of Russia and to representatives of business to be a professional, unbiased and efficient instrument in a dialogue on the issues of antitrust regulation. Members of the Association participated in drafting the most significant regulatory acts, including the recent amendments to the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” and related acts, resolutions of the Russian Government, and other regulations.  The Association has currently set up about 20 working groups on the key areas of antirust regulation. It regularly holds joint open meetings on application of antitrust law as part of its collaboration with the FAS of Russia under a cooperation agreement.

Nato Tskhakaya is the head of RGP’s Antitrust & Competition practice. She has many years’ experience in antitrust laws and regulations, and advises clients on M&A transactions and infrastructure projects. Nato supports RGP’s foreign and Russian clients on the issues of antimonopoly compliance, foreign investments in strategic industries and merger control filings, and represents clients before the FAS of Russia in relation to the alleged competition law breaches, antitrust investigations and complaints. Among Nato’s clients are major Russian and international oil and gas companies, pharmaceutical and transportation companies, investment funds, and diversified holdings.  Prior to joining RGP, Nato was a partner at Danilov & Partners law firm, and before that, she worked at international law firms Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld and Salans.
