RGP’s partner elected as the ICC Court member for Russia
Partner and Co-Head of Dispute Resolution practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan and Partners Dmitry Dyakinhas been elected as a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration for Russia for a three-year term set to commence on 1 July 2021.
As a member of the Court Dmitry will be supporting the Court’s activities in Russia and representing Russian arbitration community abroad, while Russia is one of the key jurisdictions for the ICC because of its diverse economy and growing business society and for the recent years the number of Russia-related cases and cases with Russian parties administered by the ICC International Court of Arbitration has dramatically increased.
Dmitry comments on his appointment: “I am very honored and moved to join the ICC International Court of Arbitration and would be happy to continue promoting this fantastic Forum in my new capacity.”
Members of the ICC Court of Arbitration are rotated every 3 years and appointed by the World Council on the proposal of the Court’s President.
The ICC International Court of Arbitration is the leading arbitral institution in the world established in 1923 to support trade and business activities. Since then, it has been assisting in resolving difficulties in international commercial and business disputes.
