The ICC International Court of Arbitration has been awarded licence to administer Russia-seated arbitrations on 18 May 2021 and granted the status of “Permanent Arbitration Institution” by the Council for the Development of the Arbitration Process of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. What difference does it make, and why does it matter?
