Alexey has 27 years of experience in the international and Russian markets. He has advised major clients in oil & gas, energy and manufacturing sectors on taxation, management, law, GR and regulatory matters. Before joining RGP, Alexey worked for and was a partner at major international and consulting firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers (until 2009) and Ernst & Young (until mid-2018). During the last 10 years he was head of the international tax practice at Ernst & Young delivering services to the oil & gas sector companies. He also has substantial experience in a variety of other industries. Being based in Moscow, London and Dubai, Alexey has worked in, and frequently visited, over forty countries across the world.

Apart from cooperating with RGP, Alexey is also a senior adviser to Boston Consulting Group (BSG), a major international consulting company.

Alexey has participated in the development of the Russian tax system for the oil & gas sector. He was also member of the Russian Government’s Commission on the Fuel and Energy Complex and Improving the Economy’s Energy Efficiency(2012-2014). A variety of federal ministries have engaged him as an expert.

Alexey holds a degree from the Russian Government’s Financial University (1993). He has been member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants since 1997.
