Nato Tskhakaya, Counsel and Head of Antitrust and Competition Practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners Law Firm (RGD), moderated the session “Competition Development: Effective Tools for Business” held as part of the Pravo.ru conference on antitrust law during sanctions.

The event brought together the main representatives of the legal community with the focus on antitrust regulation. The session was devoted to the discussion of tools designed to stimulate competition in business and other issues of roadmap development.

Nato presented an overview of the main measures taken and being developed by the Federal Antimonopoly Service, which are aimed at maintaining competition and reducing excessive antitrust regulation and control within the new political and economic environment. Among the measures, Nato has named the cancellation of scheduled inspections, as well as the fight against unscrupulous suppliers, noting the flexibility of the decisions of the regulator, which is aware of the importance of prompt response and taking measures to reduce regulation and control.

In addition, participants touched upon the issues of pricing in the conditions of a bilateral monopoly and issues of constructing and implementing of antimonopoly compliance as an effective tool to ensure competition.
