Nato Tskhakaya, Counsel and Head of Antitrust and Competition Practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners Law Firm (RGD), moderated the session ‘Antitrust Compliance: Why and How to Implement It’ at the Antitrust Forum 2022 – the largest specialized event which gathers representatives from regulator, business and legal industries.

The session was dedicated to the implementation and effective use of antitrust compliance tools, which have proven their usefulness and are actively used by major companies and government agencies in order to lower antitrust risks.

The participants of the event under Nato’s moderation discussed the impact of the current situation on compliance in general, and what grounds for refusal to approve compliance were identified by the FAS this year. The session participants also covered a number of practical issues that arise in the implementation of this methodology, based on local and international experience. The discussion also touched upon the specifics of introducing antitrust compliance for digital platforms, unifying rules and other issues that need to be resolved to strengthen and arrange the legal framework which is critical for widespread introduction of wide range of antitrust compliance tools.
