Maria Samartseva, counsel, Head of IP litigation practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin and Partners (RGD), participated in the XXIII Intellectual Property Forum. The Forum took place on April 7-8, 2022 in online and offline formats. RGD acted as a Forum’s partner.
Traditionally, the Forum got together the best professionals in the field of intellectual property: in-house lawyers, IP experts, consultants and patent attorneys. They discussed main IP-related topics, protection strategies for various intellectual property objects and case-studies.
Maria acted as a moderator of the digital session “Automation of work with IP objects and protection in the digital environment” and made a presentation on the topic “Possibilities of protecting a non-fungible token (NFT) that confirms the ownership of unique digital items, incl. obtained using software”. The digital session caused high interest of the audience. The speakers got a lot of questions from the guests. By the end of the Forum Maria launched the telegram-channel IP&NFT about IP with focus on Digital, NFT, and Legal Tech.
