An international conference titled "Private International Law: New Vectors of Development" organized by Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) together with the Russian Branch of the International Law Association was held on 29 May in Moscow.
Vsevolod Taraskin, Counsel at Dispute Resolution Practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin and Partners law firm (RGD), spoke in the session "Settlement of Investment Disputes". He discussed the choice of arbitrators in investment arbitration in the current environment and provided a number of legal case studies to highlight the aspects that should be considered when conducting an investment arbitration case.
The conference was attended by representatives from Russian and CIS universities, including the Belarusian State University, the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Tashkent State University of Law.
