The event took place on April 23 2023 at the International and Comparative Law Research Center and was attended by 70 students representing HSE University, Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russian Foreign Trade Academy, MGIMO, and other Russian and international universities. In the course of two presentations, lawyers from Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners (RGD) discussed the impact of moot courts on their career and personal growth and highlighted the skills any lawyer needs to have, regardless of their specialization. 

The speakers shared valuable tips on participation in moot-court competitions. Vadim Vunukainen, Senior Associate at RGD, discussed the special features of oral rounds at moot courts and what sets them apart from real-life arbitration proceedings. In her turn, Elena Murashko, Junior Associate at RGD, focused on the basic rules of legal writing that are essential for preparing well-drafted litigation documents. 

The Russian Law Students Association is a new community that brings together students pursuing legal studies at 20 universities across Russia. The association aims to help unlock the full potential of law students who seek to enhance their skills and broaden their professional interests.
