Suren Gortsunyan, Founding Partner and Head of Corporate Practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin and Partners (RGD), moderated a section titled "M&A Trends and Investment Opportunities: 2023–2025" at the PREQVECA International Forum in Belgrade, which took place on November 16.

PREQVECA International Investment forum is an exclusive event that brings together global investment funds, law and advisory companies, corporations and family offices, private investors and entrepreneurs.

During the forum, participants had the opportunity to discuss important topics such as global investments, M&A transactions in the region and worldwide, tax trends in the global market, and legal aspects of transactions.

In his presentation, Suren Gortsunyan shared insights into the M&A market in Russia and highlighted the key trends in this field. The number of transactions aimed at exiting the Russian market is going down, but there has been an increase in outbound divestment by Russian parties as well as in restructuring under Russian law-governed transactions (including redomiciling).
