RGD International Central Asia Counsels Participated in the Russian-Uzbek Business Forum

Shavkat Juraboev and Damir Amanbaev, counsels at RGD International Central Asia, participated in the Russian-Uzbek business forum, held in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) on December 1–2, 2022.

The forum has become a new platform for strengthening ties between industrial and entrepreneurial circles of Russia and Uzbekistan, united by a common goal – launch and effectively implement promising projects in investment, foreign trade and high technologies.

The event was supported by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. They expressed confidence that the ties between the two countries will expand and strengthen. This trend is confirmed by statistics indicating an increase in bilateral trade. In the coming years, countries plan to increase the volume to USD 10 billion.

“In recent years, we have personally observed how our country has been making tremendous efforts to increase its investment attractiveness, and I can say with confidence that Uzbekistan is turning into an international financial hub, attracting the attention of key international investors. Holding a forum with such a representative list of guests is a direct evidence of interest in the country's economy that will stimulate the development of the entire Central Asian region. Moreover, the regions of both countries are actively participating and building up the potential for cooperation, which is an indicator of mutual trust and business interest. A striking example is the industrial park built in Chirchik, Tashkent region, which is designed to localize production of Russian companies in Uzbekistan,” said Shavkat Juraboev.

“We are confident that given the support of the governments of our countries, economic ties and business activity will develop at the proper level. We are delighted to stand on the threshold of great changes. As for our firm, we always follow the business interests of our clients and strive to expand the geography of our presence. We have recently opened an office in Tashkent and are very pleased to be able to observe positive changes from the front row, providing first-class legal services to all participants of cooperation between our countries,” commented Damir Amanbaev.
