RGD Partner Authored an Article in the Vedomosti Newspaper

Nato Tskhakaya, Partner and Head of Regulatory Practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners law firm (RGD), published a column in the Vedomosti newspaper.

In the article Nato talked about how foreigners withdraw from Russian assets.

Foreign companies began to leave Russia in 2022. In 2023, non-residents' transfer of Russian assets to new owners was no less active. Now, the process is more clear and structured.

The government is focused on making businesses more efficient rather than on just keeping them in the country. Therefore, new owners will have to play a more meaningful role in running them, and control over such transactions will be tighter.
