On November 18, Nato Tskhakaya, Partner and Head of Regulatory Practice at the Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin and Partners (RGD) law firm, spoke at a seminar intended for Master’s students enrolled at the Department of Commercial Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). The event focused on the specific aspects of deals during counter-sanctions.

During the seminar, the RGD partner informed the students about the new regulations related to counter-transactions, specifically those concerning deals and transactions involving parties from unfriendly jurisdictions and currency regulation. The future lawyers learned about the key aspects that should be considered when finalizing deals in 2023 and how they are approved by the new subcommittee. To reinforce the knowledge they acquired, the students were divided into three groups with ten people in each, and every team proposed its solution to a given problem.

Nato Tskhakaya pays special attention to educating the younger generation and regularly holds seminars for students. During the previous event, the RGD partner shared insights into anti-monopoly compliance with students pursuing Master’s programs at the Department of Commercial Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Additionally, this year, Nato will be joining the examination committee of the Department of Commercial Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University for the third time to take part in an oral exam for students.
