Dmitry Dyakin, Partner and Co-Head of Dispute Resolution Practice at Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners Law Firm (RGD), and a member of the Court of Arbitration of Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC), took part in the annual SIAC Board meeting, which was held as a part of the Singapore Convention Week 2022.

The SIAC Board meeting was attended by representatives of the Centre, members of the SIAC Arbitration Court and representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Singapore, including the Second Minister of Justice, Mr. Edwin Tong, who welcomed the participation of representatives from Russia and emphasized their important role in arbitration proceedings under SIAC rules.

Singapore Convention Week is one of the largest forums in Southeast Asia and is entirely dedicated to legal and dispute resolution issues. Every year it brings together leading legal professionals, representatives of the public sector and business from around the world.

This year’s participants exchanged views and practical recommendations on a wide range of issues, discussed various questions related to the settlement of disputes between investors and governments, disputes in the digital economy, as well as innovative solutions, legislative initiatives and trends.
