Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners (RGD) strengthens its expertise in the sphere of financing. Alexander Geda, a lawyer focused on banking and finance, joins RGD as a counsel. Before joining RGD, Alexander worked at the international law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP advising clients from the different sectors on the matters of banking and finance law including Russian and foreign banks, major international traders, financial institutions and borrowers.

Alexander has a more than 10-years experience of working on various finance matters, including corporate, prepayment and project financing representing major Russian and foreign clients. Alexander was a member of, and headed, the teams working on the high-profile international transactions. In particular, Alexander advised a syndicate of banks arranged by ING Bank in connection with a USD570 million pre-export finance facility to Siberian Anthracite; bank Natixis S.A. in its USD300 million facility agreement with TOO Aktyubinskaya Mednaya Kompaniya, and many other major Russian and foreign clients on various matters of finance law.

Alexander’s professional achievements are recognized by leading international and national legal ratings. Alexander is included in the list of Recommended lawyers by Pravo.ru-300 in the Banking and Finance. He is named as a “Rising Star” in Banking, Russia by IFLR1000 EMEA, recognized by The Best Lawyers in Russia in the Insolvency and Reorganization Law, recommended by The Legal 500 EMEA in Banking and Finance: Lender or Arranger Side, Russia.
