Arbitration International, an Oxford University Press journal, has published Mikhail Riazantsev’s manuscript entitled “Non-Compensable Regulation and Regulatory Expropriation: Where Is the Line?”. The article adapts Mikhail’s paper submitted as a master’s dissertation at Queen Mary University of London.
In his article, Mikhail analyzes whether the police powers doctrine and clarified expropriation clauses provide a consistent and predictable solution for drawing the line between non-compensable regulation and regulatory expropriation, and if so, where that line lies.
