Rybalkin, Gortsunyan, Dyakin & Partners law firm (RGD) is delighted to announce the appointment of new partners effective January 1, 2023. The five new partners are Anastasia Konstantinova, Nato Tskhakaya, Anthony Walker, Yuri Makhonin, and Konstantin Mineev.

 

The appointees joined RGD at different times, but all of them have one thing in common – it did not take them long to become the key players on the firm’s team. Every day they make their invaluable contribution to the future of the firm, working to strengthen its position in the legal market.

New RGD Partner Details

 

Anastasia Konstantinova, Partner, Head of RGD’s Sanctions Practice. Anastasia specializes in international litigation, investigations, and foreign sanctions regulation, including sanctions compliance and appeals against restrictive measures imposed by foreign states. Anastasia has extensive experience in advising clients on the corporate structure development and restructuring. 

 

Nato Tskhakaya, Partner, Head of RGD’s Antitrust Practice. Nato specializes in regulatory and antitrust matters, and infrastructure projects. She possesses ample experience in representing clients in antitrust investigations and proceedings, negotiating transactions, and advising on measures focused on ensuring the financial stability of the Russian Federation. Among Nato's clients are the largest Russian and international companies in the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, aviation, transport and logistics sectors, construction companies, diversified holding companies, and investment funds.

 

Konstantin Mineev, Partner at RGD’s Corporate Practice, specializing in M&A. He possesses broad expertise in M&A, corporate governance, equity and debt capital markets, financing and regulatory matters. Konstantin's special interest lies with complex M&A projects involving multiple jurisdictions and managing multiple legal teams. Throughout his career, Konstantin has represented clients in major transactions and projects. Among his clients are major Russian and foreign companies from various sectors – energy and natural resources, retail and real estate, telecommunications and media business, financial institutions and fintech companies.

 

Anthony Walker, Partner, Head of the English Law Practice. Anthony specializes in international arbitrations related to M&A and corporate disputes. Anthony is an English solicitor, advocate, and an expert in international corporate law, mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his career, he has been involved in some of the most ambitious corporate projects and transactions. Many of those projects have gone down in the history of modern Russian business. Anthony has experience representing clients in a number of major arbitrations under the rules of various international arbitration institutions. Anthony is included in the lists of arbitrators of the Russian Arbitration Center (RAC), the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC).

 

Yuri Makhonin, Partner at RGD’s Dispute Resolution Practice. Yuri focuses on litigation and arbitration in Russia, including contractual, corporate, real estate, and construction disputes, bankruptcy, debt recovery, and administrative disputes. He represented major foreign and local clients in more than 400 cases in Russian arbitration, general jurisdiction courts, and international arbitration tribunals. He is included in the list of recommended arbitrators of the Russian International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (the ICAC), the Russian Arbitration Center at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration, and is an arbitrator of the International and Investment Disputes Panel of the Arbitration Centre at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
