A welcome address at the webinar was given by Ivan Gudkov, Vice President for Legal Affairs of the Russian Export Center Group, and Stanislav Georgievsky, Vice President of REC JSC.

Vladimir Padalko, Vice President of the CCI of Russia, shared information with the audience on the issuance of force majeure certificates to Russian entrepreneurs.

Yuri Makhonin spoke about the pandemic as a force majeure event and how to protect one’s interests in case of default of foreign trade contracts as a result of this background. Ivan Meleshenko explained the current requirements for the repatriation of foreign currency proceeds. Marina Abazyan gave recommendations to suppliers with respect to existing and new contracts during the pandemic.
