Managing partner Suren Gortsunyan, Oleg Isaev, a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice, and Anastasia Konstantinova and Gayane Nadzharova, both counsel in the Dispute Resolution practice, attended the Forum as delegates.

On Wednesday, 15 May, Suren Gortsunyan spoke at the discussion session organized by Inter RAO UES “Five Years of Civil Legislation Reform: Preliminary Results and Future Potential”. Mikhail Konstantinov, head of legal at PJSC INTER RAO, moderated the discussion. The participants discussed the efficiency of attempts to harmonize civil and corporate law and develop the framework for business and investments in Russia.

Suren talked about changes in everyday work of legal practitioners as a result of the reforms, about the practical side of the reform process and changes relevant to a private law practice.

Apart from Suren Gortsunyan, speakers at this discussion session included Andrey Gabov, chief researcher at the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Gadis Gadzhiev, judge of the Russian Constitutional Court, Artem Karapetov, M-Logos Law Institute Director, Elena Kuritsyna, Bank of Russia Corporate Affairs Department Director, Yuriy Lyubimov, Deputy Chief of the Government Staff of the Russian Federation, Denis Novak, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, Sergey Saveliev, partner at Saveliev, Batanov & Partners and Yuriy Tolstoy, Professor of Civil Law Department of St. Petersburg State University.

The session generated much interest among the Forum attendees.

Apart from that, on 16 May, as part of the Legal Street programme, RGP hosted a major street party “Harley-Whiskey-Rock’n’Roll with RGP”, during which the firm held a prize draw for a chance to win the latest model of Harley-Davidson FXDRS 114, 2018 year of manufacture, among about 200 contenders. Evgeny Shestakov, managing partner of law firm INTELLECT (Ekaterinburg), became the lucky winner of the motorcycle. Presenters at the party were Maxim Leonidov, a famous Petersburger, actor and musician, and Mrs. St. Petersburg 2018 Evgeniya Myagkikh. Maxim Leonidov gave an hour-long concert, with the entire Rubinsteina Street singing along with him.

Рок-н-ролл с РГП», во время которой фирма разыграла последнюю модель Harley-Davidson FXDRS 114 2018 года выпуска среди около 200 претендентов. Счастливым обладателем мотоцикла стал управляющий партнер фирмы INTELLECT Евгений Шестаков из Екатеринбурга. Ведущими вечера были знаменитый петербуржец, актер и музыкант Максим Леонидов, а также Миссис Санкт-Петербург 2018 Евгения Мягких. Максим Леонидов отыграл часовой концерт, которому подпевала вся улица Рубинштейна.
