MSU graduates Varvara Voynova, a counsel at RGP’s dispute resolution practice, and Konstantin Mineev, a counsel at RGP’s corporate practice, told students about main aspects and areas of RGP practice, about selection criteria for hiring, including entrance tests and interviews, and also about the distribution of roles within the team, specifics of combining study and work, career growth opportunities and specialization in certain areas of law.
Yan Kalish, a counsel at RGP’s dispute resolution practice, gave a presentation “Foreign judicial instruments in the international disputes involving Russian parties”.
Varvara Voynova has commented: “It was a pleasure to come back to my alma mater, to meet today’s students and tell them about my work at RGP. A career day is important as a first step in getting to know each other, and I will be delighted to interview MSU students in the future”.
Konstantin Mineev said: “I was pleased to see a great number of interested students and to answer their questions about RGP and career development opportunities our firm can provide to MSU students”.
A Career Day is a job fair for young lawyers mainly with no work experience. Its key feature is that employers themselves come to students to talk about work opportunities their companies provide.
The next Career Day, where RGP will act as a General Partner, will take place at MGIMO on the 4th and 5th of December 2019.
