Kristina Tokareva is a junior associate with RGD’s Sanctions and Dispute Resolution practices.
Background
Prior to joining the RGD team, Kristina worked at the Saint Petersburg office of Borenius, a leading Finnish law firm, and its Russian successor where she advised Russian and foreign clients (primarily from Northern Europe) on dispute resolution in Russian state courts and international arbitration related, inter alia, to the unilateral economic measures imposed against Russia. Also, Kristina was an intern at the major international law firm.

Representing a major Dutch shipbuilding company, which failed to deliver the vessels due to EU sectoral measures against Russia, in disputes with a Russian state-owned enterprise
Representing a Russian supplier of mining equipment in the FAI arbitration with a Finnish company which failed to supply the goods due to the inclusion of a beneficiary of the end-purchaser in EU blocking sanctions
Representing a Russian subsidiary of a major Norwegian package producer in a series of disputes against Russian business operators in connection with EU sectoral measures against Russia and subsequent disruption of supplies from Norway
Representing an international software company in a number of disputes against a Russian state-owned company over recovery of debt for the software products developed for the latter in the absence of any written agreements between the parties
Representing a Russian subsidiary of a major French manufacturer of agricultural equipment in a dispute against Russian сustoms authority regarding customs fees over dividends payable to the foreign shareholder and the supplier of imported goods
