Marina Zakharova

Marina Zakharova is a counsel at RGD’s white collar practice.

Marina has extensive experience of advising on criminal proceedings, employment and family law matters, succession and contractual law. Marina represents clients in connection with property and commercial issues (including the liability of top managers, subsidiary liability, acquisition / disposal of assets, commercial disputes, claims by enforcement agencies, etc.)


Prior to joining RGD, Marina co-headed litigation practice at a Russian law firm with a most outstanding criminal practice for 7 years. Before that, Marina worked as an in-house lawyer in major Russian and international companies.

  • Representing a foreign heir in a claim with respect to accepting inheritance in Russia, recognition of ownership to property in Russia and to interest in Russian legal entities

  • Representing a foreign individual in a dispute to change the surname of common minor children (Russian citizens)

  • Preparing a nuptial agreement, agreement on the place of residence of a child and the procedure to communicate with the child and agreement on alimony for the benefit of a major investor, engaging in negotiations on his behalf


  • Advising a major international pharmaceuticals company on a wide range of employment and compliance issues, including disputed dismissals , and representing the company in employment disputes with its employees
