Pravo.RU-300 ranks Rybalkin, Gortsunyan & Partners among Russia’s leading law firms
On 4 December 2020, winners of the national legal rating Pravo.RU-300 received their awards at Lotte Hotel, Moscow. Over 100 representatives of leading Russian and international law firms attended the awards ceremony, and a few thousand viewers watched the live webcast online. Rybalkin, Gortsunyan & Partners has been recognised in six practice areas and ranked as a top tier firm in two categories: International Litigation and International Arbitration.
The first-ever large-scale research of the Russian legal services market was commissioned by Pravo.RU in 2010. The rating organizers’ main aim was to improve the market transparency and to establish reference points for courts and clients so that they could assess the level and professional competence of legal advisers. From the moment of its establishment, Pravo.RU-300 has earned the status of the most prestigious national rating, and the annual awards ceremony has become one of the most eagerly awaited events of a business season for the legal community. In 2020, the rating has published its eleventh research, with Deloitte acting as its auditors.
Despite taking part in the research for the first time, RGP has right away been recognised in all key practice areas and was declared a top tier firm in two categories:
Tier 1 in International Litigation
Tier 1 in International Arbitration
Tier 2 in Domestic dispute resolution (major disputes – HIGH MARKET)
Tier 2 in Bankruptcy (including disputes)
Tier 2 in Corporate Law/M&A
Tier 3 in Competition Law (including disputes)
According to the rating organizers, Pravo.RU 300 is an operating tool actively used on a regular basis by in-house lawyers and representatives of the companies’ bid teams for searching and selecting contractors. The rating methodology is based on an assessment of the law firms’ project experience, as well as on client feedback on the level of service and the ratio of cost and quality of legal services. An independent Expert Board, which includes the heads of legal departments of major Russian and international companies, was established to improve the rating mechanisms.
